Today we cross the Swedish ski resorts, which promises some good elevation.
Around noon the rain joins in again and unfortunately the rest of the day is nothing but suffering. We push on with morale, scouting for gas stations to resupply, warm up and dry off.
At 210 km, we realize it’s going to be very complicated to do grocery shopping and arrive on time at the campsite. We then launch into a frantic 70 km sprint with Sébastien. We devour it in 2 hours and arrive just in time to buy the now-traditional potato salad.
Fortunately the cabin where we sleep is very cute and we treat ourselves to a beer to forget this gloomy day.
A frantic 70 km sprint, after 210 km and 9 hours of riding in the legs, under the cold rain… Well well…! Fortunately, there is that satisfaction, in the evening, the little cabin! And a good beer! I hope tomorrow will be less humid, that you won’t have the storm that’s raging here! Total admiration for your courage and tenacity! Thanks again for these pretty photos, surreal that reindeer by the roadside! 🙂 Courage for tomorrow! Thinking of you! 💪😘😊
